As HADASA continued to grow and people began to recognize the essence of the brand and its DNA, I wanted to introduce structured masculine silhouettes with feminine elements. I combined elegance with a strong sense of femininity through the adaptation of suits, trousers, jackets, and skirts. Asymmetry was also a key element throughout the collection, representing the imbalance and instability present in the world.
Throughout history, art and creativity have offered me a source of light during times of darkness. For some reason, Tamara de Lempicka continues to inspire me time and again. Her ability to embody the essence of Art Deco through her distinctive “soft Cubism” feels clean, precise, and elegant, and I wanted the color palette to reflect those qualities.
I sought to create a sense of hope by introducing emerald green tones, conveying energy, optimism, and renewal. Softer shades were expressed through a range of pastel pinks and complementary tonal variations, creating a feeling of calm, reflection, and emotional distance.

Durante el tiempo que estaba diseñando esta colección, el mundo a mi alrededor cambió dramáticamente. Luché por encontrar el mood y look adecuado para esta colección. Viajaba tanto, de ciudad en ciudad, de país en país, y no podía dejar de sentirme derrotada con lo que sucedía en el mundo. La cantidad de información que recibía a la misma vez de todas estas ciudades era espantosa. Trump, ataques químicos en Siria, tiroteos en Chicago, prohibiciones de inmigración, corrupción, violencia en Guatemala ... la lista continúa.
Aunque el futuro puede parecer incierto. Ahora es el momento de tomar una posición real. Un verdadero propósito global. El verdadero activismo significa tomar acción ya que el mundo también necesita la voz de la mujer Latina.
Fue entonces que, para esta colección, comencé a centrarme en mi propio ADN. Un ADN que es complejo e influenciado por tantas cosas. Soy guatemalteca. Soy panameña. Soy americana. Mi padre es mitad negro de
descendencia Colombiana y mitad chino. Mi madre guatemalteca.

Tenemos un nivel de desigualdad de riqueza que lastima a todos. No se trata de la nacionalidad, la religión o la etnicidad, se trata de ser un “cititzen of the world".
